Graphics Planet worked in close collaboration with Artemis Interiors (the principal contractor) and HLW Architects to bring a bold and meaningful concept to life.
Rather than focusing solely on Cambridge’s colleges and universities, the client’s vision was to, in their words, “Celebrate Cambridge in a more dynamic way that connects it to the wider world.”
The creative direction centred around visionary figures such as Sir Isaac Newton, who studied at Cambridge, highlighting the city’s legacy of innovation and discovery. Once the concept was approved, Graphics Planet took the lead in designing, producing, and installing stylised graphics across all floors, transforming the space into a visual celebration of Cambridge’s global influence.
Reception
In the reception area, the bold linear design was brought to life through our bespoke wallcovering and signage, creating a clean and confident first impression.
This striking visual language seamlessly extended into the adjoining café space, where a large-scale interactive world map became the focal point.
Positioned at one end of the room, the map not only added a powerful visual feature but also invited engagement—highlighting the global reach and connections relevant to the brand’s story.
Work Areas
Continuing the theme of innovation and discovery, we highlighted a series of groundbreaking scientific advancements — Gravity, the Big Bang Theory, Hydrogen, DNA, and the common computer — all of which have deep historical and academic ties to Cambridge.
These concepts were carefully selected to celebrate the city’s enduring legacy as a hub of transformative thinking and world-changing ideas being transformed into locker door covers and office graphics
